Summary:
The Associate Director of Executive and Professional Education provides day-to-day management of the university's portfolio of executive and professional education offerings.
The Associate Director will be responsible for building and maintaining positive and collaborative working relationships with key corporate/organizational stakeholders internally and externally and with a team, providing market-responsive solutions that support employee and organizational growth.
This position will report to the Assistant Provost and Executive Director, Division of Community Learning with a 'dotted line' to the Executive Director, Corporate and Organizational Engagement.
Office of Corporate and Organizational Engagement:
The Office for Corporate and Organizational Engagement provides an elevated partnership experience for companies, organizations and municipalities.
Serving as BW's central point of coordination for external clients and partners in Northeast Ohio and beyond, the corporate and organizational engagement team skillfully facilitates connections between business and academia, ensuring tailored and innovative solutions that exceed expectations.
Division of Community Learning:
The Division of Community Learning (DCL) is an entity at Baldwin Wallace University that develops, supports and administers community-based and professional educational initiatives across all colleges/schools and their respective departments on- and off-campus.
The DCL is focused on creating accessible opportunities for our community to work alongside our faculty, staff and students, and utilize the university's incredible facilities, research, and expertise.
Essential duties, tasks, and
Responsibilities:

Programs and Services Develops, implements, and evaluates a portfolio of educational services (i.
e.
, classes, workshops, programs) for individual professional growth and corporate/organizational talent development Assists in scoping custom engagements with the Interim Director, Executive and Professional Education and/or Executive Director, Corporate and Organizational Engagement Leads the development of open-enrollment courses based on market demand and the internal needs of the institution Assists with creating a suite of asynchronous learning modules working alongside university content experts and the Program Manager, Exec.
And Prof.
Education Serves as a Relationship Manager for the Office for Corporate and Organizational Engagement Assists in managing third-party vendor relationships and contracts related to learning management systems or purchased program offerings.
Capacity Building Builds a team in response to growing capacity Provides supervision to a full-time program manager who aids in programmatic operations and logistics (i.
e.
, scheduling, proposal creation, invoicing, payroll and contracting).
Continuously inventories and assesses the capacity of the BW ecosystem to create a robust and diverse 'bench' of faculty/experts who can deliver on market-responsive topic areas Recruits talent to fill capacity needs based on desired programming/custom engagements Finance/Budgeting Manages programmatic revenue, budget forecasts, and actuals in alignment with institutional goals and an established pro forma
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
At least five (5) years of management-level experience in higher education or human resources Experience in building relationships with faculty and staff within an institution Experience with learning design and/or program development/evaluation Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite Must be detail-oriented with exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and take initiative.
Skills in problem-solving, negotiation, tact, and diplomacy Ability to maintain a sense of collaboration and trust among a team Will be required to pass a background check and complete required University compliance training Compensation:

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Other than some local travel, work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Flexible, remote work can be arranged, but some weekly time in the office will be required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
