We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our team.
This is a position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, where you will be integral in ensuring the financial health and success of our operations.
As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for all aspects of project and financial management, including ERP, bank reconciliations, EOM and EOY close, and project accounting.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for:
1.
Managing all financial aspects of our construction projects, from initial budgeting and cost projections to final account settlements.
2.
Performing regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
3.
Utilizing ERP systems to manage and track project costs and revenues.
4.
Leading the EOM and EOY close processes, ensuring all financial reports are completed accurately and on time.
5.
Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure all financial aspects of projects are aligned with overall company objectives.
6.
Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
7.
Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards in the construction industry.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following
Qualifications:
1.
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
2.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
3.
Prior experience with ERP systems is essential.
4.
Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, EOM and EOY close processes is required.
5.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
6.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
9.
A professional accounting certification (e.
g.
, CPA, CMA, CGA) would be an asset.
